Meet Our Team

Ali O’Reilly Notley

PRINCIPAL SOLICITOR

Ali O’Reilly Notley is the Principal of Notley Solicitors.

Ali qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and is dual qualified in both Ireland and in the jurisdiction of England & Wales. Ali is involved in all areas of general practice, but specialises in the areas of conveyancing, wills, probate and estate planning. Ali holds a qualification in Trust and Estate Planning and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Planners “STEP”. Ali also advises clients on litigation, family and employment law.

Ali’s previous experience includes training initially as a Solicitor in a general practice before working in a corporate law firm on the commercial team for nearly five years. Ali has also worked as legal counsel in house in a bank and briefly for an airline, and so her experience is particularly varied which lends itself well to the general practice model within which she now practices.
Ali was educated at Alexandra College Dublin and studied Economics at University College Dublin before entering Blackhall Place Law School in 2009. Ali is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.

In addition to holding a qualification as a Solicitor, Ali holds Diplomas in Trust and Estate Planning, Family Law, Employment Law and in In-house Practice. Furthermore, she holds Certificates in Banking Law, Conveyancing and in English and Welsh Property Law.

Jane Mathews

CONSULTANT SOLICITOR

Jane Mathews qualified as a Solicitor in 1980. After a successful few years in the Conveyancing Department of Matheson Ormsby & Prentice and 2 years managing the general practice of M.O’Shea & Co. Kilrush, Co. Clare, she set up as a sole practitioner from her home in Foxrock, Dublin in 1985. She offered her professional services in the areas of Conveyancing, Wills & Probate. This was a lifestyle choice as she managed her professional career around her growing family. In 2004 she joined BCM Hanby Wallace (now Byrne Wallace), as Partner with responsibility for the Private Client Department. After a successful 3 years, she succumbed to the lure of the independence of a sole practitioner and returned to practice from home in Foxrock where she remained until her recent merger with Notley Solicitors.

Jane has always offered a very personal and professional service to her clients.  The satisfaction of her clients in their repeat business and referrals to others are testament to the quality of her service. She continues to provide this level of service in her new position as Consultant with Notley Solicitors.

Jane offers clients extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of Residential Conveyancing, drafting of Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney, the Extraction of Grants of Probate and Administration of Estates.
